Ganesh Ayyar joined MphasiS as its CEO in January 2009. He also serves as an Executive Director of the MphasiS Board of Directors. In his two year tenure, Ganesh steered MphasiS to achieve its USD 1 billion revenue in 2010. MphasiS won the Outlook Money award for the Best Value Creator among Large Caps in the year 2010.
Under his leadership, MphasiS undertook its first transformational restructuring in November 2010. This move gave MphasiS its strategic growth verticals and enabled the company to significantly augment its revenues in the direct market. MphasiS' M&A strategy has borne fruition with 3 key acquisitions since 2009 - AIGSS (AIG's IT captive Unit in India), Fortify (a company focused on Infrastructure services and platforms) and most recently Wyde Corporation (An IP lead software vendor serving the Global Insurance Industry).
Ganesh has promoted an open door culture and put great focus on employee and internal communications. A firm believer of contributing to the society, Ganesh has championed several Corporate Social Responsibility causes especially the employment of people with disabilities at the workplace. Today over 400 people with disabilities have been employed by MphasiS. With his executive sponsorship, the company has won several awards for its inclusion policy.

Ganesh joined MphasiS from HP where his last assignment was that of Vice President, Managed Services, Asia Pacific & Japan, leading selective sourcing and small and medium outsourcing deals. At HP, he held several key assignments including being the President of HP India in 1999. He was the co-lead for pre-merger Integration Planning for HP-Compaq Merger for Asia Pacific & Japan. Ganesh also held the office of Vice President of HP Services for South East Asia, and lead customer support, consulting & integration & Managed Services business. With more than 25 years of experience, Ganesh's career has spanned across South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Asian Emerging Countries) & India.
Ajay has more than twenty one years' experience in leadership, organizational strategy, sales management, business development and operations. In the last twelve years in US, Ajay has focused on making strategic breakthroughs - new logos, opening geographies, establishing new practices and building teams. He has immense expertise and has run successful programs in data center consolidation; virtualization, workplace services, and unified cloud strategy offering flexible services & consumption models.
Previously, at Wipro Technologies, Ajay led new business acquisition for Infrastructure Services across Manufacturing Hitech (MHT), Energy Utilities (ENU) and Banking Financial Services Insurance (BFSI) verticals. He helped improve win rate and led pursuit teams to close large deals. Most recently, Ajay led end to end IS sales and practice for MHT industry in US & Latam.
Prior to Wipro, Ajay was with Sify leading Infrastructure sales for North America and Europe. In addition, he has had leadership roles at Tech Mahindra, Syntel, HCL and others. Ajay's focused approach to align with customers to meet their objectives has significantly grown engagements and relationships.
Ajay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from SJ College of Engineering, Mysore and an MBA from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) New Delhi.
Dinesh holds three key portfolios at MphasiS, Specialized MU Sales, New Ventures, and Head Banking & Capital Markets
In Specialized MU Sales, Dinesh leads a specialized team with Domain specific business experts. This team will work on horizontal solutions such as ERP, CRM Testing etc and Emerging Services such as Mobility, Analytics & BPO/KPO.
As head of New Ventures, Dinesh leads a team that identifies innovative business solutions and nurtures entrepreneurship.
As head of MphasiS Banking and Capital markets, Dinesh will lead a team that takes to markets specific solutions for the BCM industry.
Dinesh, previously headed the Marketing function as well as the Mergers & Acquisitions team at MphasiS. In the Marketing function, Dinesh headed the global marketing activities to strengthen the MphasiS brand through a blend of diverse Outreach Programs, Lead Generation and Corporate Communications. As part of Mergers & Acquisitions, he fronted the acquisition of AIGSS, Fortify Infrastructure Services and Wyde Corp. He also played a strategic role in the integration, transition and transformation of these acquisitions.
Prior to MphasiS, Dinesh led R&D at BMC Software for the Remedy ITSM Product suite business. He drove strategy and product development for the suite that included the industry's No.1 ITIL based Service Desk/Helpdesk, Change and Asset Management solutions.
In his earlier role, he was Director of Engineering at Marimba Inc, a leading Silicon Valley startup where he led the development of award-winning, next generation products in the Data Center Automation, Desktop Management and Mobile Management space. He also has extensive experience in leading global teams, and over six years of experience in off-shoring enterprise product development to India, Israel, Canada, and Ukraine.
Dinesh holds a Bachelors degree in Technology from College of Engineering, Trivandrum in India, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana.
Rajeev Sawhney is the President - Strategic Business at MphasiS. In his role, he will be part of the MphasiS Leadership Team and accelerate the pace of transformational growth of MphasiS' direct business.
Rajeev joined MphasiS from HCL Technologies where he was President - Europe business and Global Head - Public Services. Rajeev played a key role in building the European business for HCL to what it is today and managing the strategic direction of the company to deliver IT services globally to customers in Energy, Utilities, Government, Defense, Travel, Transportation & Logistics industries. Rajeev has worked with customers across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific
Prior to HCL, Rajeev was the Business Head and member of Management Board for HCL-Hewlett Packard Limited (HCL's joint venture with Hewlett Packard).
Rajeev has been passionately leading the charge on combating the global challenge of Climate Change. He is a keen supporter of 'Green initiatives' and has been a representative in World Economic Forum on related issues.
Rajeev holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Post Graduate diploma in HR from University of Delhi. He studied strategic management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in India; a Leadership Program at Eastern Illinois University, USA; and Corporate Finance at the London Business School.
Ganesh Pai is the SVP & Head of Insurance Market Unit and a member of the executive leadership team at MphasiS. In this role, he is based out of Chicago and oversees a global business for software products and outsourcing services for the insurance industry. The unit offers core systems in the areas of policy administration, billing and claims, business solutions as well as IT & BPO services targeted at insurance companies. He is responsible for all aspects of the business from strategy to execution including financials, marketing, sales and client relationships, solution portfolio, R&D/product development, delivery and operations.
Ganesh has been with MphasiS for 16 years and has played several key leadership roles across the globe. More recently, he was the regional head for IT and infrastructure services for EMEA based out of London, UK. Prior to moving to London, he was the North American client services head for Insurance, Healthcare and Government sectors based out of New York and Chicago. He joined the company as the Regional Manager for Asia Pacific and was based out of Singapore.
With over 24 years of experience in the information technology industry, Ganesh has been responsible for establishing strategic outsourcing relationships with fortune 500 corporations across the globe. He spearheaded the effort for setting up and growing the insurance business at MphasiS. More recently, he is credited with successfully leading two M&A transactions involving the acquisition of a captive IT organization of a global insurance company and Wyde Corporation a leading provider of core insurance systems. He has successfully taken to market integrated solutions that bring together technology, IT infrastructure and operational / process capabilities to solve complex business problems. These business solutions are offered using innovative business and commercial models.
Ganesh started his career at Wipro in 1989. During his 8 year stint with the company he played several roles in sales and marketing IT products and services. At the time of leaving the organization in 1997, he was the global product marketing manager for remote access solutions.
Ganesh is on the board of F1 Foundation which directs and oversees MphasiS's participation in the community, charity work and CSR activities.
Ganesh holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University, India, and an MBA from Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Rajkumar Velagapudi is the President of Infrastructure Services Business Unit at MphasiS. His vision is to create an IT infrastructure services portfolio that enables core business transactions in a faster, cheaper, reliable and secure manner.
Raj has over 20 years of experience in IT industry. Prior to assuming this role, Raj was the CEO and President of Fortify Infrastructure Services, a leading global provider of Infrastructure Services. Prior to founding Fortify in 2008, he served as the President of Ness Innovative Business Services, and was involved in corporate development, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and drove the consolidation of Ness India delivery centers on to a single operational platform of 3,000 resources.
Raj holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, India.
Elango is the Chief Human Resources Officer for MphasiS. At MphasiS, Elango oversees all the aspects of HR and has transformed the department into a business critical function. In his role he has re-oriented MphasiS view towards IT hiring, leadership development and people management. He has been at the helm of integrating the organization through its many mergers and acquisitions. Elango has been instrumental in designing, developing and deploying an MphasiS specific performance management system. Additionally, the leadership talent and grooming program was created under his guidance.
Author of best seller 'You Don't Need a Godfather' Elango is a regular speaker at forums like PMI, NHRD and NASSCOM. He is a regular columnist in The Wall Street Journal, The Economic Times, People Matters among other publications. Elango has been with MphasiS for over a decade in HR and other important roles covering Business Operations, Marketing and Corporate communications. Before MphasiS, Elango served as Senior Vice President Human Resources for Bank of America's off shoring unit in India. Through his career, he has worked with organisations like UB Group, The Raheja Group and Quality Inns India Pvt. Ltd.
Gopinathan Padmanabhan (Gopi) is responsible for Global Delivery of services in all business lines (Applications, Infrastructure and BPO). In addition, Gopi is also responsible for all sales through HP channel.
Gopi has an in-depth understanding of IT Services outsourcing and Global Delivery. He has significant global experience in Consulting and IT Services, having worked with leading organizations in multiple geographies including India, Middle East, Europe and USA. In his career spanning over 33 years, Gopi has handled a wide variety of CxO level roles managing small & large IT Services organizations, apart from managing sales, technology, industry & domain verticals, enterprise applications, knowledge management, process & quality, etc.
Gopi has successfully implemented several innovations in delivery excellence, project and program management, continuous improvement and operational excellence. Under his leadership, his teams delivered industry leading metrics in service operations, client satisfaction etc. Prior to joining MphasiS, he has played leadership roles in leading companies like HP, PWC, Perot systems, Digital Globalsoft, etc.
Gopi holds a B.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli, and a Masters Degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from IIT, Kanpur. He has also completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP) from the Wharton Business School.
Rajesh Makhija is responsible for spearheading our efforts targeted towards high growth vertical segments such as Communications, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Retail, Logistics & Transportation and Manufacturing & Hi-Tech in prime geographies of USA & Canada, Western Europe, ANZ & Japan.
Rajesh has over 18 years of experience in IT & Outsourcing, and has worked across a wide portfolio of industries and geographies in his career. He has been with MphasiS for 9 years, and has played multiple roles across business management, sales and marketing functions.
Prior to joining MphasiS, he worked as National Business Manager for Godrej Pacific, India (now Ingram Micro) for over 3 years. During this period, he was responsible for sales, service, marketing & distribution of various IT hardware products and also had the responsibility of managing the logistics of international supply chain and national dealer network. Subsequently, Rajesh founded Nibishi Services Ltd., based in Mumbai, India and had a 3+ year stint as an entrepreneur setting up a dealer driven nationwide infrastructure service network for various IT & office automation products.
Academically, he holds an Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecom and a PGDM (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Ganesh Murthy has over 23 years of experience working in finance across diverse industries like FMCG industry, consumer durable industry and IT industry. He has provided strategic leadership to business teams in the area of financial planning, direct and indirect taxes, cost optimization, legal and statutory compliance, travel, logistics and administrative activities.
Since 2004, Ganesh Murthy has been worldwide Finance Director of Global Delivery Application Services at HP. During his tenure, Global Delivery Application Services grew from a 4,000 person organization to a 13,500 person organization. Ganesh was also a Director in the board of Hewlett-Packard Global Soft Private Limited (previously known as Digital GlobalSoft Limited).
Through his career, Ganesh Murthy has worked for some of the best known brands in the business such as Wipro, Texas Instruments, Gillette, ITC and Thomson. He has experience in Indian multinationals like ITC and Wipro where he headed the Corporate Taxation function and also in foreign MNCs like Texas Instruments and Gillette where he headed the finance function for India operations. Ganesh is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a member of the Economic Affairs Panel of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
In his role as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Puneet Bhirani, is responsible for overseeing the functions of Technology (CIO), Risk (Chief Risk Office), Legal and Business Operations. He manages these shared services in MphasiS with a focus on making them customer centric, best in class and ensuring they are delivered at an optimized cost point. In addition, he also heads the Payment Managed Service Tower which is a newly established service line to deliver Managed ATM total outsourcing services.
Puneet has been with MphasiS for over 11 years, and has provided strategic leadership at various stages of his long tenure. He has diverse cross functional experience starting from India Sales, International sales, Integration of EDS & MphasiS, Resource management, Business Operations and P&L management. He has received many accolades at MphasiS including the "Mphasian of the year" in 2009.
Puneet has over 15 years of work experience and has worked with Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) and Planetasia before joining MphasiS. He has an MBA in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai and a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
Seshagiri (Sesha) Dhanyamraju is the Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at MphasiS . In this role, Sesha is responsible for strategy development, leading the Office of CEO, mergers & acquisitions group evaluating and implementing inorganic modes of growth, strategic alliances, monitoring competitive intelligence and benchmarking, and overseeing the large deals function.
Sesha has extensive work experience of over two decades having worked in several countries in a wide variety of technical, leadership and strategy related roles. He has been nominated twice to Who's Who Historical Society for Information Technology Professionals. Prior to moving to India in 2007 to assume his current role, he spent over a decade and a half in USA working for EDS (now known as HP Enterprise Services) in diverse roles ranging including account and corporate roles, technical and leadership roles . Early on in his career he spent a number of years in a technical capacity working as Principal Certified Lotus Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. Before EDS, he worked with Digital Equipment India Limited, and traveled extensively in the Asia Pacific region as a consultant helping clients optimize their IT data centers and networks.
Sesha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology (with Honors and Gold Medal) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and an MBA from Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Vikas will manage the Transformation initiatives with special focus towards Go-to-Market excellence.
Vikas previously headed the HP Market Unit at MphasiS and has over 23 years of industry experience in managing Sales and Customer Relationships across various geographies, markets, and verticals. Having joined MphasiS in 2004, Vikas has led various Sales leadership roles across various verticals.
Vikas spent early years in Wipro where his last role was, head of BFSI vertical (SBU) in India. He then joined Ramco Systems, moved to Kuala Lumpur to head its Far East Business Unit. He later joined IBM in India where he held various positions, and was General Manager, ESG (Enterprise Systems Group - comprising IBM Mainframe, AS/400, RS/6000, Storage, etc.) when he left to nurture his ambitions of entrepreneurship to the US. At IBM, he was responsible for market share of each of the product lines, P&L of the Unit.
Vikas holds a Bachelor's degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Master's degree in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad. He has attended Executive courses at The Wharton School and Kellogg's School of Management.
As chief executive officer, Peter Kassabov has built the Digital Risk from concept to the largest independent provider of Risk, Compliance and Transaction Management Solutions, making mortgages safe and bringing confidence back to a transitioning industry.
Peter's vision and leadership has earned him a number of accolades, including The 2011 Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year in the financial-services category. He has also been invited to address senior White House officials to discuss strategies to restore confidence and create new jobs in an unsure economy.
Under his leadership, Digital Risk earned a spot on the 2012 Inc. 500, ranking number 11 in Financial Services and number 122 overall.
Prior to founding Digital Risk in 2005, Peter founded and was president of Connextions, Inc., a leading outsourcing firm where he spearheaded the company's growth from 30 employees to more than 1,000.
Before his tenure with Connextions, Peter was an executive at Logistix Corporation, one of the world's largest high-tech outsourcing enterprises with more than $750 million in revenue, 3,500 employees and 18 locations on five continents.
Peter holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from HIACE Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria.
