Ganesh Ayyar, Chief Executive Officer & Director
Ganesh Ayyar, joined MphasiS as the CEO in January 2009. Ganesh is responsible for the overall management of the company. He is a member of the MphasiS Board of Directors.
Ganesh joins MphasiS from HP where his last
assignment was that of Vice President, Managed
Services, Asia Pacific & Japan leading selective
sourcing and small and medium outsourcing
deals.
He joined Hewlett-Packard Singapore in 1989,
where he focused on the manufacturing industry.
In 1991, Ganesh was at the center of the HP
initiative concentrating on the telecommunications
industry. His efforts led him to hold a managing
role in the Manufacturing and Telecom team
in 1992.
In 1999, he became the President of HP India.
There, he led the way in delivering the best
total customer experience and strengthened
HP's position in India. His outstanding efforts
saw his move to the position of Asia-Pacific
Director of Marketing for the Business Customer
Organization in 2001.
Ganesh was the co-lead for pre-merger Integration
Planning for HP-Compaq Merger for Asia Pacific
& Japan. Immediately after the merger, he
took on the role of Vice President of HP Services
for South East Asia, and led customer support,
consulting & integration and Managed Services
business.
With more than 22 years of experience, Ganesh's
career spans across South East Asia (Singapore,
Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia,
Vietnam and Asian Emerging Countries) and
India. Ganesh is a proven global, visionary
leader with relentless business focus. His
extensive experience across a portfolio of
functions and geographies brings a global
perspective to MphasiS.
Born in India, Ganesh is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. |

Gopinathan Padmanabhan – President, Applications Business Unit and Sales, EMEA
Gopinathan Padmanabhan (Gopi) has over 29 years of global experience and is responsible for managing the entire Applications services business of MphasiS. MphasiS Applications business has over 11,500 employees globally, offering a full range of Applications services across all major technology domains and industries. Gopi also heads Regional Sales in the EMEA region for all the business lines (Applications, Infrastructure and BPO) of MphasiS.
Prior to this, Gopi was the Chief Operating Officer & Vice-President (Global Delivery) for the Applications Solutions business of Perot Systems where he was responsible for strategic management, operations, and complete service delivery of Applications solutions. Gopi functioned as Director – HP Global Delivery Application Services (HP-GDAS), HP Globalsoft India and was responsible for all practices and associated service delivery at the India Center. He also led Technology, Process and Knowledge Management globally for HP GDAS.
He held tenures as General Manager, Riyam Computer Services; Oman, General Manager - UNISYS distributorship of Oman (ZBM); Regional Sales Manager - HCL-Deluxe in New Jersey; Chief Operating Officer of LG CommerzNow, Bangalore; and Principal Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in New Jersey.
Gopi holds a B.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli, and a Masters Degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from IIT, Kanpur. |

Raj Patil – President, Business Process Outsourcing Business Unit and Sales, Americas
Raj Patil is the President of the BPO division of MphasiS with global responsibility for all aspects of this business. MphasiS BPO is a top five player in the industry with over 17,000 employees. In addition to this global responsibility, Raj also leads the sales and client services for the other two service lines of MphasiS (Application and Infrastructure Services) in the Americas region.
Raj has played several key roles during his tenure at MphasiS/EDS/HP since 2004. His operational responsibilities include leading the North America region, global responsibility for all revenues as Chief Sales Officer across all service lines and Head of Marketing.
With about 20 years of experience in the Information Technology Solutions and Outsourcing space, Raj has a unique mix of experience and knowledge in a wide range of industries, operating across multiple geographies both in entrepreneurial and large global organizations. A major part of his work experience has been across financial services and healthcare industries in the United States.
His career started with Infinity Financial Software, Inc., a software company focused on Mortgage Lending solutions. He then co-founded Health+Cast, a company developing leading edge integration platform for healthcare provider networks and then MindCrossing, a Silicon Valley startup in the Knowledge Exchange space. Subsequent to this, he moved to India to head Max Ateev, an IT services and technology subsidiary of Max India.
Raj received his BS in Computer Science from Mysore University, India, MS in Computer Science from Villanova University, Pennsylvania, and an MBA from The University of Chicago. |

P.A. Krishnan – President, Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing Business Unit and Sales, Asia Pacific & Japan
P.A. Krishnan has over 25 years of rich and varied experience in successfully managing business P&L, strategy, sales, services, manufacturing and acquisitions. At MphasiS, Krishnan focuses on continued growth in the Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing and leads sales for Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Singapore, and India.
Krishnan has over six years of specialization in the Managed Infrastructure Services and Outsourcing space. He has managed and successfully grown this business in his previous stints. Prior to joining MphasiS, Krishnan was with Siemens where he was Senior Vice President, managing Global Infrastructure Operations and Internal Sales for the Siemens Group. Krishnan has worked with other leading companies like NCR, IBM, Onward Technologies, HCL, and Nelco.
Krishnan is an Electrical Engineering Graduate from VJTI, Mumbai with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Computer Management.

Elango R, Chief Human Resources Officer
Elango is Chief Human Resources Officer at MphasiS. Based out of Bangalore, Elango is responsible for integration, management and oversight of global HR services and programs functions that support the achievement of MphasiS' business objectives.
Elango has held several senior and operational positions in HR spanning a cross-section on industries that include Banking, Financial Services, IT enabled Services, IT Services, Manufacturing, Consulting, Hospitality and Customer Care.
In his most recent role, Elango served as Senior Vice President Human Resources for Bank of America's offshoring unit in India. Previously, he worked with The UB Group, The Raheja Group and Quality Inns India Pvt. Ltd.
His experience spans end-to-end set up and operations management of HR and Training teams. Specifically, he has led teams in Performance Management Systems, Recruitment, Learning and Development, and Institutionalization of the Behavioral, Leadership and Professional skills training. In senior leadership positions, he has helped manage the HR piece of global post merger activities.
Incidentally Elango was with MphasiS earlier,
in the IT division and then as Head of HR
of MphasiS BPO division. He has returned to
the MphasiS family after a three year stint
with Bank of America.
Elango was awarded the Global Excellence in HR award at the Asia HR Congress 2007-’08 to recognize his individual talent and contribution to the field of HR. |

Sivaram Nair, Company Secretary & General Counsel
Sivaram has 22
years of experience in the secretarial, legal,
insurance and accounts fields spanning across
manufacturing and service industries. He has
been with MphasiS for the last three years.
Prior to joining MphasiS, he was the Company
Secretary of Blue Star Infotech Limited.
Sivaram is a Law graduate, Fellow member of
the Institute of Company Secretaries of India
and also passed the Institute of Chartered
Secretaries of UK exam.
Sivaram is a good table tennis player and
has represented Mumbai University during his
college days. He is presently a member of
the MphasiS table tennis team, which has won several corporate
tournaments. |

Ganesh Murthy, Chief Financial Officer
Ganesh Murthy has over 23 years of experience working in finance across diverse industries like FMCG industry, consumer durable industry and IT industry. He has provided strategic leadership to business teams in the area of financial planning, direct and indirect taxes, cost optimization, legal and statutory compliance, travel, logistics and administrative activities.
Since 2004, Ganesh Murthy has been worldwide Finance Director of Global Delivery Application Services at HP. During his tenure, Global Delivery Application Services grew from a 4,000 person organization to a 13,500 person organization. Ganesh was also a Director in the board of Hewlett-Packard Global Soft Private Limited (previously known as Digital GlobalSoft Limited).
Through his career, Ganesh Murthy has worked for some of the best known brands in the business such as Wipro, Texas Instruments, Gillette, ITC and Thomson. He has experience in Indian multinationals like ITC and Wipro where he headed the Corporate Taxation function and also in foreign MNCs like Texas Instruments and Gillette where he headed the finance function for India operations. Ganesh is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a member of the Economic Affairs Panel of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

M G Raghuraman – Head,
Business Operations
MG Raghuraman, Head of Business Operations has been part of the EDS/MphasiS organization for over eight years. In the recent past, as Interim Head of ITO, he was instrumental in the smooth functioning of the ITO business, keeping clients happy and employees motivated. The ITO business continues to expand and had the highest percentage growth during his tenure.
In his new role as Head of Business Operations, MG’s portfolio include leading teams that work on Administration, Security & Risk, Real Estate, Transport and overall Business Operations. |

Arvind Joshi, Group Chief Information Officer
Arvind has over 26 years of experience in client, business and technology management, and has driven technology strategy and implementation globally. His experience with financial institutions as well as software and services entities in various cities across Asia, Africa, Europe and USA enriches our global technology perspective.
Prior to this role, Arvind was Chief Operating Officer of 3i Infotech Inc., responsible for U.S. strategy and operations. In his previous roles, he worked with ICICI Bank, IBM, Chase Manhattan Bank and MphasiS. At MphasiS, he was the Regional Business Manager at Houston till March 2001.
Arvind holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and is an alumnus of BITS, Pilani, India. |

Dinesh Venugopal, Chief Corporate Development Officer
Dinesh Venugopal leads key corporate wide functions which include Marketing, Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Alliances and IP Strategy. He is also responsible for driving strategic new business growth initiatives.
Dinesh has more than 15 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. In his previous role, he lead R&D at BMC Software for the Remedy ITSM Product suite business. He drove strategy and product development for the suite that included the industry's No.1 ITIL based Service Desk/Help Desk, Change and Asset Management solutions.
In his earlier role, he was Director of Engineering at Marimba Inc, a leading Silicon valley startup where he led the development of award-winning, next generation products in the Data Center Automation, and Desktop and Mobile Management space. He also has extensive experience in leading global teams, including more than six years in off-shoring enterprise product development to India, Israel, Canada, and Ukraine.

Seshagiri Dhanyamraju – Head, Strategy and Benchmarking
Seshagiri (Sesha) Dhanyamraju heads Strategy and Benchmarking at MphasiS. In this role, Sesha is responsible for strategy development and articulation, benchmarking against competitors and against the company’s stated goals, execution of key strategic initiatives on behalf of the Office of CEO, attracting highly talented people into MphasiS, and developing talent for general management career within the Company.
Sesha has over 18 years of work experience in several countries and has been nominated twice to Who’s Who Historical Society for Information Technology Professionals. Prior to his current role, he spent over 13 years in USA working for EDS (now known as HP Enterprise Services) in a wide variety of technical, leadership and strategy related roles. In the early part of his career at EDS, Sesha worked as a Principal Certified Lotus Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. Prior to EDS, he worked with Digital Equipment India Limited, and traveled extensively in the Asia Pacific region as a consultant helping clients optimize their IT data centers and networks.
Sesha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology (with Honors and Gold Medal) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and MBA from Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. |
