Nitin Rakesh is a pioneer financial technologist and people leader with an unfailing ability to combine technology prowess with exceptional business insights. In the first 100 days of taking on the mantle as the CEO of Mphasis, Nitin has launched Mphasis X2C2 TM formula for success, (shift anything to cloud and power everything with cognitive); driving five dimensions of business value with an integrated consumer-centric Front to Back Digital Transformation, enabling Business Operations and Technology Transformation.
Prior to joining Mphasis, Nitin was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Syntel (a NASDAQ listed IT Services Company); where he established a track record of delivering profitable growth at industry leading operating margins. In the very first year as CEO, Nitin led the company to a 14 per cent annual revenue increase, accompanied by expanded geographic reach. He also developed and launched new service offerings such as, Syntel’s innovative SyntBots automation platform. This award-winning automation solution effectively positioned Syntel as a disruptive challenger in the industry.
Nitin was elevated to being a CEO after serving as President, Americas for Syntel, where he headed Business Development and North American operations. During this time, extended the company’s footprint to Europe, including setting up centers in Scotland and Poland. This was his second four year run with Syntel (2012 to 2016), the first being between 2002 to 2008. During his first innings, Nitin developed and launched Syntel’s Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) offerings. He also charted a strategy that propelled Syntel’s KPO practice as the company’s fastest-growing business unit, and quickly growing to account for 25% of Syntel’s overall revenue. From Vice President and Head of Syntel’s KPO operations, he was elevated to CEO of Syntel's joint venture, State Street Syntel Services, where he led its India operations, until 2008.
He then moved to head Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company as CEO and Managing Director; where he piloted Exchange Traded Fund (EFT) in India. This was recognized as the "Most Innovative ETF, Asia Pacific" at the 2011 ETF Awards in New York, and the "Most Innovative Mutual Fund, India" in 2010 at the Crisil - S&P Mutual Fund Awards.

Nitin holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science) from Delhi Institute of Technology, Delhi University and has received his Master’s in Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and is also an alumni of Harvard Business School’s CEO Workshop.
Sivaram heads the Secretarial, Legal, Ethics and Internal Audit Departments at Mphasis..
He has been with Mphasis for more than 11 years and has been part of Mphasis' Leadership team in its journey of growing Mphasis revenues from $150 million in 2005 to its present revenue of over a billion $. Sivaram has over 25 years of experience in the Secretarial, Legal, IP, M&A, Insurance and Accounts fields spanning across manufacturing and service industries. Before joining Mphasis, he served as the Company Secretary of Blue Star Infotech Limited.
Mr. Nair and his legal team supports the growth of the Company through their key role as negotiators with global clients, making sure the best value is attained for the Company.
He and his team have been running the Whistleblower and Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) programs in the Company for many years. He also runs several IP awareness programs enabling employees to identify, protect and leverage IP.
Sivaram is a Law graduate, fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and also has a degree from Chartered Secretaries, UK.
Recently, Sivaram was recognized as one of the leading General Counsels in India contributing significantly to the rapidly growing in-house legal market, by The Legal 500 in their inaugural GC Powerlist for India..
Over and above his responsibilities at Mphasis, Nair is the co-founder of Technology Law Forum, a non-profit organization, and also a member of the National Regulatory Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Besides work, Sivaram is a passionate table tennis player and has represented the Mumbai University twice during his college tenure. He has played for Mphasis at many corporate tournaments and won several awards.
As President, and Member of the Executive Council, Dinesh is the global head for Direct-Core Business and Digital across industry verticals.
With over 20 years of cross-functional leadership experience spanning strategy, technology innovation, M&A and marketing, Dinesh has been instrumental in catalyzing Mphasis growth through focus in delivering business value and delighting customers.
Under Dinesh's leadership, Mphasis has transformed its solution and services portfolio that have enabled Direct-core business to grow faster than the industry. Also, Mphasis is now consistently ranked as #1 or #2 service provider by our top 5 Industry leading customers.
In his previous role as the Global Head of Mphasis' Specialized Market Unit, Dinesh led the development of next gen solutions in the areas of Mobility, Analytics and BPO/KPO. He also set up the Mphasis' Corporate Development Office including the Mergers & Acquisitions team, Marketing and innovation incubation charter in the areas of Payment Solutions and Product Engineering Services.
Prior to his assignment at Mphasis, Dinesh was the Head of Product Development at BMC Software for the Remedy ITSM suite of products. He was also Director of Engineering at Marimba Inc, a leading Silicon Valley start-up, where he led the development of award winning, next generation products in the niche fields of Data Center Automation, Desktop Management and Mobile Management.
Dinesh has a vast and successful experience in leading global teams to enable offshoring of enterprise product development in India, Israel, Canada and Ukraine, with proven expertise in amalgamating technology commercialization, business acumen global client relationships, marketing and strategic planning.
Dinesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology from College of Engineering, Trivandrum in India, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana.
Elango is a core member of the Mphasis Executive Council since 2001He has taken on many avatars through his tenure, ranging from Chief Human Resources Officer to Business Leader for Emerging Geographies and now Head of HP and DXC Business unit.
As Chief HR Officer, Elango transformed the HR function with innovative talent strategies and instituionalised programs to guide the organization through various stages of large scale growth and subsequent maturity. He successfully integrated people practices with business outcomes, delivering effective end-to-end solutions that touched the entire lifecycle of an employee.
Elango's passion for leadership and top talent programs fueled the adoption of – trendsetting HR programs that attracted and nurtured industry best talent, while balancing the complexity of a global organisation in a fast evolving landscape. He was instrumental in building a culture of empowerment and belonging and under his leadership, the team institutionalized talent analytics and data driven approach to HR, with special emphasis on predictive analytics.

Gopinathan Padmanabhan (Gopi) is responsible for Global Delivery of services in all business lines - Applications, Infrastructure and BPS.
Gopi has an in-depth understanding of IT Services outsourcing and Global Delivery. He has significant global experience in Consulting and IT Services, having worked with leading organizations in multiple geographies including India, Middle East, Europe and USA. In his career spanning over 35 years, Gopi has handled a wide variety of CXO level roles managing small & large IT Services organizations and managing a wide range of functions including sales, technology, industry & domain verticals, enterprise applications, knowledge management, process & quality, etc.
Gopi has successfully implemented several programs focusing on innovations in service delivery, project and program management excellence, continuous improvement and operational excellence. Under his leadership, his teams delivered industry leading metrics in service operations and consistently high client satisfaction scores across all service lines. Prior to joining Mphasis, he has played leadership roles in leading companies like HP, PWC, Perot systems, Digital Globalsoft, etc. Gopi's current focus is on creating disruptive innovations in IT services, global delivery and service operations using mathematical & statistical and operations research models combined with tools & automation and advances in software engineering.
Gopi holds a B.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli, and a Masters Degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from IIT, Kanpur. He has also completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP) from the Wharton Business School.
A member of the Executive council of Mphasis, Puneet Bhirani has recently taken over as CEO of Digital Risk, an Mphasis company. In this role, Puneet is responsible for managing the P&L of Digital Risk business.
Previously, Puneet was the Chief People and Administrative Officer (CPAO) for Mphasis, where he managed key functions such as HR, CIO, CRO, CSR and Business Operations. He has a track record for ensuring Mphasis attracts the best talent, employees get the best career development experience, tools and technologies and infrastructure in a secure environment.
In addition, Puneet also heads the Payment Managed Services SBU which manages 9,000 ATM’s on a Total outsourcing model across India for various Banks.
Puneet has over 20 years of experience working in diverse fields such as Green field projects setup, driving operational efficiency, sales, resource management, Integration, consulting, business analysis and operations. He has been with Mphasis for over 15 years across diverse functions. He was awarded Mphasian of the year in 2009. Prior to joining Mphasis, he worked with Planetasia Ltd and Asea Brown Boveri Ltd.
Puneet holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree, MBA in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai and AMP from Wharton School, Philadelphia.
Radha is the Chief Data Officer, and is responsible for managing the data fabric for Mphasis -Corporate Operating System and the Strategy and Execution Framework for the company.
Radha was involved with leading the Strategy and M&A teams at Mphasis. In this role she led the 3 year strategy planning and execution for the company. She also successfully led the Domestic BPO divestiture along with the Business Head.
In her 6 years at Mphasis she has been working closely with the Executive team and handled several roles spanning strategy, planning and sales analytics. She has led several key transformation initiatives as part of the CEO's office, including reorganization and implemented the 'Science of Selling' framework to improve sales effectiveness.
Radha is well regarded as a woman leader and in 2014, she was awarded the 'Mphasian of the year' award, making her the first woman to receive the award in the company's history.
Radha has over 15 years of experience in the areas of finance, risk management, strategy and M&A in industries spanning insurance and IT Services. Her prior experience includes setting up business planning function for a mid-tier IT Services Company, advising large clients in risk management in specialized portfolio - P&C Insurance.
An all India rank holder and a gold medalist, Radha holds a Masters in Business Administration.
Rajesh holds three key portfolios at Mphasis. Product Portfolio Group (PPG), Marketing & Alliances and Mergers & Acquisitions.
As head of Product Portfolio Group, Rajesh is responsible for intellectual property-based software products, platforms and solutions for Mphasis. As part of this portfolio, Rajesh is the CEO of two product companies - Mphasis Wyde and Eldorado. Wyde is an international software vendor and creator of Wynsure- an industry leading Insurance Policy Administration Solution. Eldorado offers Health Insurance solutions, through its two payer platform products Javelina and Healthpac.
Since taking on this role in Nov 2014, Rajesh has led a quick pace complete turnaround of the Product Portfolio Group with both Wyde & Eldorado well on their way to be among the best performing units of the Mphasis Group.
As the Chief Marketing Officer of Mphasis, Rajesh is responsible for global marketing & communication activities including brand management, market development, corporate communications and media relations. Rajesh also heads global alliances, which involves setting up strategic partnerships & operating models with software product companies & niche services firms. As M&A head, he is responsible for all acquisition and divestiture from the Mphasis Group.
Previously, Rajesh was heading Enterprise Market Unit for 4 years, responsible for spearheading the expansion of Enterprise Business segments globally. This included a large portfolio spread across Healthcare & Life Sciences, Telecom, Retail & Logistics, and Manufacturing & Hi-Tech. He led Enterprise Unit to become the fastest growing and amongst the most profitable units of the organization.
Rajesh has more than 24 years of experience in Technology domain and has been with Mphasis for 15 years. Over the years, Rajesh has produced tremendous growth across a wide spectrum of industry segments including Financial Services and Healthcare.
Prior to joining Mphasis, Rajesh worked as National Business Manager for Godrej Pacific, India (now Ingram Micro) for more than 3 years. Subsequently, Rajesh founded Nibishi Services Ltd., based in Mumbai, India, and experienced a 3-plus year stint as an entrepreneur, setting up a dealer-driven nationwide infrastructure service network for various IT and office automation products.
An experienced presenter, Rajesh has been a guest lecturer at multiple universities in the U.S. and India. He is often called upon to share his insight in cross-industry forums on next-generation technologies affecting business processes and the state of the global sourcing and outsourcing industries.
Academically, he holds an Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecom and a PGDM (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. He is currently on the Board of IIM-Ahmedabad Alumni Association, USA Chapter. He also completed the Advanced Management program at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania and is an active member of the Wharton Club of New York.
In his personal life, Rajesh is committed to charitable efforts and is associated with multiple non-governmental organizations to support underprivileged children in US & India. He is an avid follower of NBA & Cricket, also an active sportsperson with passion for tennis, golf and volleyball.
Srikanth is an industry veteran and seasoned Human Resources Officer with close to 30 years’ experience in business focused innovative HR systems & processes, and institutionalizing global benchmarks for large enterprises as well as start-ups. He has strategized and spearheaded numerous people initiatives, seamlessly executing them with laser focus on simplicity, strong business relevance and impact. His functional experience spans across resource strategy, manufacturing operations, industrial relations, HR technology implementation and process excellence in multiple industries including Manufacturing, IT/ITES and Telecom.
Here are highlights of Srikanth’s career: he worked for about 10 years at ITC across various geographies before moving to a Silicon Valley start-up -Aztec Software and then to GE Capital International Services (GECIS) as their HR Head. Further to the sale of GECIS, he was the Global HR Head at Syntel Inc and then the country Head HR for Hewlett Packard (HP) India. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to invest and work with tech startups, which he passionately continues. He then took on the role of HR Director at Airtel and later as Head of HR Strategy and Culture for Syntel.
Srikanth holds a Masters in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and Bachelor of General Law from Mumbai University. He has also attended various executive programs with AIM Manila, Wharton, GE Crotonville and Harvard.
Surya is a Chartered Accountant with more than twenty nine years' experience. He has provided strategic leadership to business teams in the areas of Financial planning & Accounting, Taxation, cost optimization, legal and statutory compliance and Treasury.
Surya joined Mphasis in 2009 post Mphasis' acquisition of AIG Systems Captive of AIG Inc. where he was the CFO. At Mphasis, Surya was responsible for Budgeting, Forecasting, MIS, and pricing, Direct & Indirect Tax for global operations and Investor Relations.
Previously, at AIG Systems Captive of AIG Inc., Surya was instrumental in setting up the offshore development center including obtaining necessary statutory approvals, chartering and implementing policies & processes.
Surya has been the Chief Financial Officer at Deutsche Software Captive of Deutsche Bank and Ramco Systems Ltd.
Surya is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He graduated in B Sc (Mathematics) from St. Xavier's College, Bombay University in First Class (Hons) with University rank in Economics. Surya was also the proud recipient of the CFO India's First Annual CFONEXT100 in December, 2012 and repeat winner in December, 2013.
