MphasiS was assessed on parameters that included security
policy framework, monitoring and response mechanism, disaster
recovery and contingency planning, employee training, role
of senior management in the sphere of security initiatives,
security certifications received and future security initiatives.
Members of the jury included, Dr. Gulshan Rai, Director,
CERT-In, Mr. Prasad Natu, Shared IT Services, ITC Ltd and
Capt. Felix Mohan, Director, SecureSynergy.
SecureSynergy Security Strategist Awards were instituted
to recognise CIOs/CTOs/CSOs who have demonstrated outstanding
leadership in the area of information security. The Awards
highlight the criticality of Security and the need for Indian
enterprises to have a well-defined strategy for information
protection and are looked upon as a benchmark for Corporate
India to judge the effectiveness of their Security Strategies.
The event recently took place at Bangkok, Thailand and was
attended by over 400 CIOs and CTOs.
