The MphasiS BFL Group on Tuesday reported Rs 40.98 crore net profit
for the year ended March 31, 2002, a 201 per cent jump over the
previous year's Rs 13.61 crore.
The company
said in a statement its consolidated revenues for 2001-2002 increased
14.6 per cent from Rs 273.34 crore in the previous year to Rs 313.35
crore.
The Board
of Directors have recommended a dividend of 15 per cent for the
year 2001-2002, up from 10 per cent last fiscal.
"We are
now a 2000 strong group and have added two software development
centers and a call center this quarter". Jerry Rao, the company's
Chairman and Managing Director, was quoted as saying.
"We are
well poised to take advantage of the situation when the markets
improve", he added.
The group added 11 new clients including two in
MphasiS BPO, the group call centre subsidiary, the statement said. |
