Client
A leading European Bank

Objective
To infuse focus and orientation towards software process improvement, the Bank embarked upon the implementation of a Software Process Improvement Initiative across the ICT development domains in their Netherlands business unit. The improvement program is based on the SEI SW-CMMi model that has the unique ability to strengthen the development of reliable and usable software.

Twenty domains and 1200 development team members were covered. The Bank's objective with this program is to achieve productivity improvement in two years while attaining a higher level of professionalism. The Bank wanted to work with a consulting organization at a higher software maturity level.

Scope of Work
The scope of work included the improvement of the quality of software development processes across the development domains. This was achieved by assessing the current quality procedures and comparing them to best practices.
