MphasiS, has won the prestigious National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) - Shell Helen Keller Award 2008, for being � A Company that demonstrates its belief in equal rights and gainful employment for persons with disabilities, through its policies and practices.� This is truly a recognition of ongoing efforts by MphasiS to build an inclusive workplace - an endorsement of commitment towards recognising abilities and providing equal work opportunities to all. About the Award Instituted in 1999, the N.C.P.E.D.P.-Shell Helen Keller awards symbolise an equal playing field for people with disabilities. Every year, 12 role models are selected � those who have been doing exemplary work towards helping people with disabilities to find positions of equality and dignity in the workplace. They may be individuals or organisations who have the vision to look beyond the obvious. The Award, will be presented on 2nd December 2008 - the eve of the World Disability Day. |
