SUPPORTING INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS
IN EDUCATION, LIVELIHOOD AND INCLUSION
Mphasis F1 Foundation is an independent charitable trust with a charter to support innovative programs that work towards the inclusive development of society.
As front-runners in technology-led solutions, Mphasis' corporate social responsibility (CSR) works for socially excluded and economically disadvantaged groups through disruptive and tech-based solutions in the areas of education, livelihood and inclusion.
Mphasis CSR programs expand across its geographies of operation as well as disaster affected regions in India.
Mphasis CSR is committed to bringing social change by applying the power of technology and disruptive solutions. With a strong belief that technology can play a transformational role for positive outcomes in the areas of education, livelihood creation and equitable development, Mphasis CSR has undertaken several programs across these three focus areas.
Second wave caused unforeseen damage to the human lives, pushing huge population towards poverty and hunger. Mphasis in partnership with Kaushalya Foundation provided 6,50,000+ meals to the families affected in regions across India. This initiative benefitted 9000+ lives.
The pandemic badly affected human lives with medical facilities in severe shortage. Mphasis through United Way Bengaluru supported 50 bed COVID Care Centre in RR Nagar. In the course of time, the Center treated 627 patients. The partnership also supported vaccination drive for 9747 people in rural Bengaluru.
Mphasis through GiveIndia extended support to deliver healthcare and humanitarian aid in rural areas through an extensive network of NGOs and Government partnership. These initiatives impacted 9595 beneficiaries in Mumbai and Pune regions.
Mphasis along with NASSCOM Foundation supported Karnataka CHC Hospital with immediate healthcare equipment during severe shortages of medical supplies across the country. In addition to that, 500 dry rations were provided to the affected families and 18323 doses of vaccines were administered to Person with Disabilities (PWDs), senior citizen, LGBTQ and tribal communities impacting more than 30000 lives.
To strengthen health infrastructure, Mphasis along with AIF aimed to provide immediate medical supplies such as oxygen concentrators, PPE kits, ventilators and N95 masks to government hospitals across the regions in Tamil Nadu. These support in turn impacted 115460 beneficiaries.
In an attempt to understand and evaluate the broader benefits and effectiveness of CSR projects as experienced by the stakeholders, third-party impact assessments are carried out annually. Through these studies and reports, we are able to evaluate the progress made in F1 Foundation’s areas of focus and identify new areas of growth. The CSR impact assessment methodology followed in these studies complies to The Companies (CSR Policy) Amendment Rules 2021 and The Companies Act 2013.
