To handle sub-optimal space utilization of shipping containers, there was a need to continuously supervise images of loading/unloading the containers to improve productivity and optimize trailer loading.
Mphasis' Trailer Capacity Prediction model helped client in classifying trained images of open trailers into categories - empty, half or full packed. The prediction helped to monitor unutilized spaces in containers, plan container filling, and optimize warehousing operations.
