A US based Wealth Management Company

BUSINESS OBJECTIVE

The client aims to build an AWS platform to support their application portfolio migration, consolidation, and modernization while improving operational management. They wanted to establish standard operating procedures, processes, tools, and technologies and leverage cloud native operational services and governance solutions to optimize cost. Additionally, the client was looking to integrate monitoring and observability for their existing customer-facing process and platforms, while enabling an integrated, single pane of glass monitoring across AWS and Azure environments. The intent was to ensure zero disruption to all end customers during the demerger/transition phase from the parent company.

 

SOLUTION

 

Mphasis has been a key partner in supporting the client with their End-User services (M365) and greenfield environment for Software Defined Network solutions, Identity Security and Vulnerability Management on Azure environment. Based our domain knowledge and technology expertise, we were chosen to build and implement an AWS hybrid-cloud solution for hosting their business applications. We are providing the following services to the client -


  • Build and manage operate AWS Landing Zone using Solution Provider Program (SPP)
  • Assess, plan and migrate applications from the parent company data center to newly built AWS landing zone
  • Enable business to leverage DevOps including integration with 3rd parties – Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Confluence
  • Automate configuration management through automated remediation controls per customer compliance, security policies, and Change monitoring IaC (cfn-nag, cfn-config)
  • Pipeline automation through IaC (AMI Factory), static & dynamic security testing, deployment pipeline for securing infrastructure.
  • Conduct ongoing AWS Well-Architected reviews and provide recommendations on next steps
  • Support key AWS services - CloudFormation Templates, CloudWatch, AMI’s, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS Services, VPCs, AWS Workspaces, Patching Services
  • Support key AWS services for EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda Functions, AWS SNS, Amazon API gateway, Amazon EFS, Amazon DynamoDB, CloudWatch, AMI
  • Migrate SQL servers to RDS Services
  • Leverage Mphasis accelerators like OptiCloud, TagSync, NetOS for delivering efficient and optimized services
  • Provide 24x7 coverage for AWS operations, P1/P2 incidents with integrated monitoring for AWS and Azure environments
