Our client is a leading U.K.-based labelling and art management company. The company provides labelling content management and artwork generation solutions for regulated markets such as the pharmaceutical, medical devices, cosmetics, and chemicals industries. It enables organizations to produce accurate, print-ready artwork for their packaging and labeling in seconds.

THE REQUIREMENT

The client was looking to significantly reduce the effort and turn-around time for onboarding new clients, and migrating and processing more than 10,000 labels from multiple new clients.

Their existing migration process was completely manual, executed in batches, and hampered by large lead times for lack of resources. They wanted to leverage automation of the artwork (labels etc.) inventory management — identification, tagging, & migration of artefacts to a cloud-based artwork management tool.

SOLUTION

 

We leveraged Mphasis DeepInsights™, our proprietary cognitive automation platform, to ingest the incoming assets (labels, leaflets etc.), and perform object identification and text extraction. This enabled the identified objects and text to be processed for identification and validation of logos, symbols, text, objects, and tags. We used the GCP platform and PaaS services like Google Vision, & Translate etc., to make this process efficient and seamless.
