A TIER-1 INVESTMENT BANK IN THE U.K. ACHIEVES MULTI REGION DEPLOYMENT WITH HIGH COORDINATION AND COST EFFICIENCY, LEVERAGING AN ANTHOS-BASED PLATFORM

CLIENT

 

Our client is a Tier-1 investment bank in the U.K, Scotland region.

THE REQUIREMENT

The client was challenged by significant manually driven operations in an environment where different applications had different set up, and separate tools for different pipelines and it resulted in inefficient operations, application development and deployment delays and quality issues. They were looking to simplify their shared services for infra-architecture to efficiently manage multiple environments and meet all security, quality, and compliance requirements.

SOLUTION

 

Using a distributed Agile methodology, we performed a cloud control plane platform assessment, and set up a digital Cloud platform team to implement automated CI/CD pipelines across all applications. Connectivity was enabled between client on-premise environment and client GCP, and we set up multi region deployment.

We provided a detailed and well-defined documentation of the bootstrapping process for onboarding applications to the GCP platform thereby enabling smooth onboarding of any new application that would be developed in the future
