Cloud Financial Management

Mphasis has methodology, process and relevant tooling experience :
• Creation of unit economics for the customer's AWS bill
• Multi account strategy and cost allocation tags for visibility by business unit / product lines
• Support for cost allocation of shared service costs
• Leverage AWS Cost Explorer, and AWS Cost and Usage Report to cost and usage information at your desired level of granularity
• Along with AWS tools leverage partner such as Apptio for Cloud Financial Management

Monitoring & Observability

Mphasis uses an event reference architecture approach for AWS Cloud Operations which has Monitoring Layer, Event Management Layer and ITSM Layer to:
• Set-up an effective event reference architecture
• Leverage AWS CloudWatch for Logs, Metrics, Alarms and Dashboards for Infrastructure and Application observability
• Along with AWS tools like CloudTrail, X-Ray, EventBridge, CloudTrail Insights we also use 3rd Party solutions like Solarwinds, Splunk, Datadog, AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace
• Enable all alerts from various sources to be correlated
• Reduce noise alerts from the systems using event correlation engine like ITOM of ServiceNow
• Generate tickets only for those events that are impacting the service
